Gekkou (ゲッコウ?) was a student of Yabakune High School (矢場久根高校?) who was planning to become Yabakune's new leader in her third year, replacing the previous leader, who had lost Yabakune to Gekioko Koko. She went to Majijo with some subordinates, to introduce themselves to Salt's successor Sakura. Gekkou would later be one of Yabakune's Generals under Head, who became the new leader instead of her.

Majisuka Gakuen 4

Episode 10

After finding out about the Rappapa President's absence, Gekkou brought her faction to Majisuka Jyogakuen. They intended to introduce themselves to the presumed successor of Rappapa, Sakura. As they entered the lobby, they brought down a gang who were preparing graduation decorations at the time. After testing Sakura's capabilities, Gekkou silently left with her gang.

Majisuka Gakuen 5

Vol.01

After Salt rescued Antonio from the Ryuto Clan, the Kango-ka President declared another truce between Gekioko and Majijo. Yabakune did not take the news of the peace treaty well. Gekkou became one of the Generals under Yabakune's new leader Head, along with her former subordinate Kaibun. The leaders of Yabakune invited Kango-ka's President for a meeting on their school's grounds. Due to Antonio's injuries, Coby led the Kango-ka members to the meeting. As Yabakune "asked" for a reconsideration of the treaty the meeting became a heated argument between the two schools. It soon turned into a fight between the two sides, with Gekkou facing Coby.

Vol.04

After Salt's death, Gekkou and Kaibun gathered a group and went to Majijo with the intent of facing Sakura. They instead met Yoga of Rappapa's Four Heavenly Queens, who was wandering around the school's bike garage. The group led by Gekkou attacked the Queen relentlessly, but Magic arrived to assist her Yoga. Yabakune's side was unable to defeat Yoga or Magic, despite an advantage in numbers.

Vol.05

As the Yabakune Gang's Majijo Hunt continues, Amon confronts Snake on attacking Rappapa, with Head calming her down by stating that it will surely come since Majijo is in chaos. While Amon impatiently suggests that they should take on Rappapa as it is currently, the New Rappapa members arrived, challenging Yabakune so that they would stop their hunt. Due to inexperience on a fight of Rappapa's scale, Yabakune brought down the new generation, with Gekkou beating down Katabutsu and Jisedai.

Vol.07

Gekkou never expected meeting the new Rappapa members again, this time in a tunnel. Now with it's new president, Katsuzetsu, Yabakune were challenged for a rematch. Seeing the new president, Gekkou launched an assault on Katsuzetsu, who dodged every blow the Yabakune general made. As the fight began, Gekkou again fought Jisedai, but was defeated.

Vol.08

Days after their defeat, Candy and Rookie returned late, reporting that they were almost got kidnapped by some Mafia goons, but was saved by Yoga. Angry that they were saved by a Rappapa queen, Gekkou beat the two up. Thinking that it'll now be easier since there's one less Rappapa to worry about, Head was infuriated and slammed Gekkou in a wall, since she acknowledges that they now have a debt of gratitude to Majijo. Candy and Rookie apologized and mentioned what happened to Yoga afterwards.

Vol.09

Gekkou, and the rest of Yabakune's higher ups, went to Majijo later to escort Candy and Rookie, so that the two could apologize for not helping Yoga. After Head allowed Peace to release all her frustration out on the two, they offered their condolences and left with a truce.

Vol.10

Watching the movements of Majijo and Gekioko quietly, they decided to join the two groups as they charge into the Mafia meeting. As Head pointed out that it was a war challenged towards the Yankees, Gekkou added that they can't let the two schools have all the fun. After Otabe motions Zombie to give them one of the bags, the top members of the top three Female Yankee Schools walked side-by-side towards their appointed meeting place.

Vol.11

Following Majijo to the Chitoitsu's assigned exchange location, Yabakune crashed along and witnessed the Mafia shooting down Magic. Enraged when they attempted to shoot Otabe, the whole Yankee Alliance began attacking all the attendees of the meeting. Out of ammunition, Gekkou managed to get her hands on a shotgun, but when that also ran out, she used it as a baton and still charged head on. With no ammo, it wasn't long before Gekkou was shot down along with the rest of Yabakune and Gekioko.

Vol.12

When Sakura was the last one of the Yankee Alliance left standing, the girl saw an illusion of Salt, Otabe and all Female Yankees involved in the whole war, including Gekkou. As Sakura walked with them towards the police, the Police Commisioner, who miraculously survived the assault, gave the order to shoot Sakura down.

Trivia

  • Gekkou's name could have been derived from either the Japanese word for "moonlight" (月光 gekkou?) or from "gecko" (ゲッコウ gekkou?).
    • Gekkou's actress Nagao Mariya was under the talent agency Irving Co. Ltd. during her appearances in MG4 and MG5. Thus her character's name could be based on the World War II aircraft Nakajima J1N1 Gekko, which was also called "Irving" by the Allies.
  • Nagao Mariya is the only member who appeared in almost all of the canon seasons of Majisuka Gakuen, including the Musical Stage. The only series she did not appear was Majisuka Gakuen 0, which was a production exclusive to HKT48.
